Balance Fire Yoga is an adaptation of Vinyasa Flow, which is the yoga of linking breath to movement. By compassionately moving your body with your inhalations and exhalations, it becomes easier to let go of the past and future, in order to connect with the present moment. The most important moment of our existence is the one we are living right now. In our western society, so much time is spent worrying about the past and future, creating limits on what we think we can do, or this idea that we NEED something external to make us strong or powerful.

When we access and connect with the breath, it helps us to look within, and realize that all strength of body and spirit we will ever need resides internally within each and every one of us. This revelation helps us to redefine the idea of limits. It helps us to change our own personal reflection of “I can’t” to “I can”. Through mindful practice, positive reinforcement, and the interspersion of the balance of movement with the fire that burns within all of us, everything becomes possible. The heart of Balance Fire Yoga is to help you realize your greatness and strength, and to be the absolute best you can be both on and off the mat.

All levels of yogi and yogini are welcome, whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time, or if you are trying to enhance your current practice. There will always be an opportunity to realize greatness.
